Tropical indoor pool & sauna

In our tropical indoor pool you can swim a little, float around for a while or relax on one of the sun loungers while looking out over the garden.

Sauna enthusiasts may unwind in the sauna (bathing clothes are mandatory). There’s no need to book in advance for the swimming pool. Please notify our reception in case you want to visit the sauna; our staff will see to it that the sauna is activated at the appointed time.

During your stay you can make unlimited and completely free use of the lovely warm indoor pool and sauna!

Working out

Want to work out? We have a private tennis hard-court between the trees. Tennis rackets and balls can be borrowed at the reception if needed. There’s also a professional jeu de boules court at the estate!

Villa Vennendal is the perfecte starting point for discovering one of the most beautiful Dutch landscapes. Take a beautiful cycling trip or explore the Veluwe on foot; from the hotel you walk straight into the woods. You can rent a bicycle at the estate; we have bikes with gears as wel as electronic bikes. A range of hiking and cycling routes are available at the reception.

The Hotelbar

You can relax and meet in the attractively furnished Huisbar. A lovely place for a cup of coffee with a warm piece of apple pie by the fireplace and a drink with various tasty snacks.

When the weather is nice, you can also take a seat on the Barterras, where you can enjoy the peace and space that the Veluwe has to offer, between the greenery and the fens.

The Hotelbar is open every day and is also suitable for socializing with the family.

Playing golf at the neighbours

The most beautiful golf course of the Netherlands is located in Nunspeet, at walking distance from our hotel. With 27 holes, a broad range of natural elements and wonderful fairways and greens, het Rijk van Nunspeet is the place to be for golf lovers! Elevated tee boxes with a fine view of what’s to come make your rounds at Het Rijk van Nunspeet a truly great experience.

The golf course offers plenty of variety with three 9-hole loops. By combining two loops at a time, you can play different rounds of 18 holes. The driving range is partly covered and features two levels. In addition to playing golf for fun you can seriously work at your technique at het Rijk van Nunspeet; there’s also a 6 holes par-3 course.
